About the workplace

Hello there! Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for an HR administrator who loves order and structure.

As an HR administrator with us, you will be the hub of the department, with insight into most of our HR processes. You will be part of a dynamic group working closely with all other functions in the department. Does that sound interesting? Then you are the missing piece of the puzzle in our department.

So who are we?

The HR department belongs to the municipal management office and we are located in Uddevalla municipality's city hall with a view of the harbor and the sparkling sea under the Uddevalla Bridge. With us, you will be part of a department where joy at work is high and where we care for each other, think pragmatically, and enjoy developing and evolving - all to achieve our goals. We simply enjoy working together.

The HR department consists of about 35 employees and here you will find roles such as HR Partners, HR specialists, HR controllers, HR administrators, administrators, negotiation managers, payroll managers, payroll consultants, HR managers, and system administrators.

We have close cooperation with other administrations and work together in our various process and development groups.

What will you be doing?

You will provide administrative support to the HR department and managers, manage our document handling, digital processes, and collaborate with colleagues. Here are some examples of what you will fill your workday with:

  • Administer labor law matters, training, recruitment, and advertising.
  • Manage the HR department's functional mailbox.
  • Secretarial tasks at personnel meetings and central collaboration.
  • Be responsible for document handling and record-keeping.
  • Develop templates and guidelines in collaboration with colleagues.
  • Organize information on Teams, intranet, and in the employee handbook.
  • Administer permissions in the HR system and provide support to managers/colleagues.
  • Digitize forms and archive digital materials.
  • Conduct procurements together with relevant functions.
  • Participate in the development of the department through various groups.

What qualifications do you need?

You have an academic education in HR, administration, or system management or something that the employer assesses as equivalent. You have experience in administrative work within the public sector:

It is meritorious if you have good knowledge and practical experience of HR administrative processes.
